About Woodcraft

The Woodcraft Folk is a children’s educational movement.

Since 1925 the Woodcraft Folk has worked to develop children’s self-confidence, and their ability to act in society and make a positive difference to the world around them.

The Woodcraft ethic promotes values based on equality, peace, social justice and co-operation. Its motto is: Span the world with friendship.

About Cardiff Woodcraft

Cardiff Woodcraft is part of this movement, and shares the same aims. Our group is part of the Penarth District Woodcraft Folk. We are recognised and accredited by the national Woodcraft organisation.

Cardiff Woodcraft is run by registered volunteer leaders, most of whom are parents of children in the group.
